Member Categories & Benefits
Corporate / Government / Supplier Membership
There are four levels of corporate/ government membership and two levels of supplier membership. This new structure takes into consideration company size and number of participating employees (now known as affiliates). Affiliates will still be associated to the state in which they reside. They will, however, receive benefits and discounted registrations for all events in every state. The system is based on the user-pays principle, and members will only be charged based on the number of affiliates that require services and benefits:

  • Each affiliate will be treated as an individual member. That is, the corporate member will identify and register the employees that they would like to receive WMAA benefits under their membership. These benefits, for example voting rights, event discounts, etc., will only apply to the elected individuals.
  • Each category includes a maximum number of affiliates. Corporate members will be able to add and pay for additional affiliates as and when required.
  • Corporate members will only pay for the number of employees they wish to cover as affiliates.
  • The rate for these affiliates is discounted from a separate individual membership by 12%.
  • Corporate members will also be entitled to different benefits in line with their membership level and/or category.
  • Any employees who are not participating in WMAA Branches, Working Groups or events, but would still like to receive newsletters and information about upcoming events, can be listed as additional contacts to corporate membership at no extra cost.

Individual Membership
There are three types of individual membership. Individual members will still be associated to the state in which they reside, however, they will receive benefits and discounted registrations for all events in every state.
