Partnerships with other Organisations
The Young Professionals Working Group has established partnerships with the following groups aimed at young professionals and based in Victoria:

Victorian Division, Young Engineers Australia (YEA)
YEA is a group within Engineers Australia, representing approximately 20,000 members (a third of total memberships) who are in the first five or so years of their career OR under the age of 30 years . The Victoria Division of the YEA includes students, associates, technologists, graduates and professionals. The Victoria Committee organises various activities for its members to take part in, such as the annual Career Expo and Gen-X Dinner; social events; site visits; seminars; tutorials; and workshops. There are also competitions and awards that are held on an annual basis .

Young Professionals Group, Victorian Branch, Australian Water Association (AWA)
AWA has been active since 1962 and is Australia 's largest and most influential not for profit water resource focussed association with well over 4,000 members, of which 750 are corporate or utility members.

Young Professionals Group, Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association (VPELA)
VPELA is a multi-disciplinary professional association which draws its membership from professionals related to planning and the environment, including: engineers, environmental scientists, planners and lawyers.

We have agreed on the following arrangements with the above organisations:

* Distribution of flyers about upcoming events for these groups to all of our members and vice versa;
* Joint hosting of events expected to be of common interest to our members.

To assist in promoting our events, the Young Professionals Working Group also utilises the free advertising services for environmental events offered by:

Environmental Jobs Network (EJN)
EJN is an Australia-wide online resource for environmental job seekers, professionals and career changers. EJN also provides a free service for organisations to advertise their environmental events.
