 This course has been jointly customised by the IMIA, an innovative designer of postgraduate level* Business Leadership courses and the Australian Sustainable Business Group

Leadership that delivers sustainability for businesses is critical to the wellbeing and prosperity of our community.

Combining state of the art business leadership capabilities with sustainable business concepts has lead to the development of the Executive Certificate in Sustainable Business Leadership.

The Executive Certificate in Sustainable Business Leadership provides access to cutting edge business leadership thinking by:

  • Exposing participants to new ways of thinking about sustainable performance improvement.
  • Provide participants with opportunities to apply learning as they go
  • Helping them to prepare to deal with leadership issues in the immediate future more successfully

Candidates who successfully complete the Executive Certificate in Sustainable Business Leadership are eligible to apply for unspecified credits that satisfy four elective subjects; typically one third of a relevant Master degree at specified Australian universities.

IMI501- Strategic Leadership Acumen

PROGRAM OUTLINE

Developed over many years of research, the program is delivered in 4 subjects:

  • Quality and Systems Thinking 
  • Strategic Leadership Acumen 
  • Financial Acumen 
  • Relational Acumen

Each subject is completed over 12 weeks through a blend of workshops, telephone support and online program materials. Use of online communication means that students can complete the course anywhere internet access is available. Each subject through assignment work and topic questions will apply course material to business leadership sustainability issues.
