Travelling to meetings and conferences outside Australia is beyond the resources of more than just a fortunate few. ISWA 's Online membership scheme will give a view of waste management worldwide to all. In addition, by working with and supporting our international association WMAA will be in a position to have much more influence and input into its direction and activities.
ISWA is an international, independent, and non-profit making association, working in the public interest to promote and develop sustainable waste management worldwide. ISWA is open to individuals and organisations from the scientific community, public institutions, public and private companies, consultants, and manufacturers, from all over the world with an interest in waste management. WMAA has entered into a special arrangement with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) to offer online ISWA memberships.
The memberships are available at a special rate of €53 and will provide online participation in various working groups as well as other benefits. Nearly all the services on offer will be accessed through the members-only area of the ISWA website online with the exception being the publication "Waste Management World" which will be mailed to Online members.

**Please note that all ISWA Online Memberships are processed for the calendar year only or part thereof. Members who join between January & October 2008 will be due for renewal in January 2009. Members who join in November or December 2008 will be due for renewal in January 2010. In accordance with ISWA's policies there will be no pro rata adjustments for members who join between February and October.
