Frank has been involved in the provision of forum and promotion of sound and sustainable waste management practices through:

- National waste management conferences annually since 1978
- Publication of Waste Disposal and Water Management

Through these business activities, Frank has worked in a manner consicstent with the objectives of the WMAA since long before the Association's formation.

Frank is widely known and respected throughout the industry for this role.

Frank has been a member of the WMAA since its inception, and facilitated the inaugural meetings of the formation committee, both promoting and providing space at his conferences for these meetings.

Frank was the inaugural national public officer of the WMAA.

Frank has been an active and supportive member of the SA Branch until recently when illness made it necessary for him to completely retire from business and associated voluntary activities.
